Louise Simms (Billingsley) was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church for over 45 years. She was born Alabama to parents Malfus and Adele Billingsley during the depression. Our precious Ms. Louise, at 90 years of age, passed away at her home in Quitman, Texas on May 16, 2025. She was greatly loved and missed.

Ebenezer Baptist Church is truly saddened by the senseless assassination of 31 year old Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA recently. Charlie loved the Lord and he had visited with universities and colleges all over the US to bring our country’s youth in touch with God. He was a true disciple for the Lord.
We invite anyone who is not currently a member of a church to join us for our services on Sunday, September 21st at 11:00 o’clock am for our worship service; and at 9:45 am for our Sunday School service. Ebenezer welcomes visitors who are looking for a church home, and are seeking a Bible based preaching church to attend and strengthen their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now is the time to get involved and grow your faith in God. Our church family is very important to us at Ebenezer.
